The hours for full-time or part-time positions range from 25 to 35 hours per week and treatment hours are between 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We provide services at our clinic, homes, private schools, and daycares.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Leap Ahead Clinic
Position Type: Full-Time
Leap Ahead is growing, and we are excited to welcome a Speech-Language Pathologist to our collaborative, child-centered team. We are a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based services that support children and families through individualized care.
About the Role
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding challenges in children. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with families and collaborate with ABA providers and clinical leadership to deliver cohesive, high-quality care.
Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language evaluations and ongoing assessments

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide direct speech therapy services in a clinic setting and via Telehealth

Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, and other team members to support integrated care

Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and goals

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active VA State licensure
-
ASHA CCC-SLP (preferred)
-
Experience working with pediatric populations; experience with autism is a plus

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
